Rex Rodriguez, LMT

My name is Rex Rodriguez and I am a graduate of the 2008 Class of Pensacola School of Massage Therapy. I am currently pursuing a degree in Athletic Training at Pensacola Junior College with the desire to incorporate Professional Athletic Training into my massage therapy profession. I have over 12 years of personal experience as an elite athlete, formal dancer, gymnast, and gymnastics training coach

My passion for athletics and working with athletes deeply influences my unique massage style and approach to healing the body. I believe therapeutic massage is a necessary tool that everyone should utilize to keep their body operating at an optimum level of fitness ,as well as maintaining a healthy, stress-free life. Massage is not a luxury, but a necessity to promote longevity and overall wellness.

I am fortunate that I have been able to live in many parts of the world; Thailand, Mexico, Australia and the United States. I am multilingual; fluent in English and Spanish with limited Japanese and Tagalog. I am of Asian and Latino descent. My rich family culture and life experience has been a strong influence in my quest for knowledge about holistic healing of the body. My mind is open to many paths to wellness and I am excited to be embarking on this journey of knowledge and understanding at a young age in my life.

I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and I feel blessed and honored by all who allow me to share my gifts with them. My desire is to become specialized in Sports and Therapeutic Massage for Pain Management. Currently, I am very comfortable and knowledgeable offering deep pressure relaxation massage and Sports massage for all types of Athletes. I plan on continuing to learn more about Thai-Yoga as I feel it would greatly improve my practice. I am excited to be a part of an outstanding team at the 12th Avenue Massage Therapy Group. My association with this group has already brought my career to a higher level and I look forward to serving you here.
